The Texas Center for Educational Technology (TCET), a leader in the use of technology in the classroom, has a variety of offerings to prepare teachers to meet state standards for technology use in the classroom.

Texas StargateCourses help Texas teachers utilize the Technology Applications TEKS to support student learning of subject-area content, prepare teachers to more effectively mentor students and colleagues in a technology infused learning environment, and provide a variety of professional learning options for Texas teachers.

Beginning Educators Gain Instructional Nurturance (BEGIN)

The BEGIN project is funded by a $3 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education to recruit future teachers to work in high-need content areas, such as science, math, and foreign language, in high-need schools.
